Popular TV Series. Males & Females Aged 18-65 for Regular Ongoing Work April - July. Paid

Talent Talks are proud to announce we are working on Series 2 of a popular TV Series. Having supplied some people on Series 1, we have been asked to find a larger cast for filming from mid April to the end of July. You may be needed for 1 day or for weeks on end!

If you are pass the selection process you will be in a pool of 'go to' people where you will be asked for various dates in the series. Some people will be given lines and a character and some will be background cast.

We're looking for a pool of supporting artists to be SYNTHS throughout the shoot. This is a background artist casting, but with a definite acting/moving component to it. Those selected will be trained and directed by a movement coach on set.

Payment is FAA Rates and the specific nature of these Synths characters will always guarantee at least a category D “Creative Reaction” fee as well (see FAA Rate Card). Payments are subject to a 15% agency fee.

So, what is a SYNTH?. “Synthetic appliances”, or “Synths” are highly advanced machines designed to look/move/speak as close to a human being as possible. Our SA's will therefore have to consistently act out carefully designed movements, expressions and voices.

Because of the above, ideally you will have some background and training, so we’re looking for people with a solid understanding of movement, posture and drama, so those with experience or training in one of: Dance / Theatre / Mime / Sport / Stunt Work / Modelling.

The profile and physical trait of the SA's that we are looking for are:

Well built / athletic / average height and size.
Ages ranging from 20 to 45 (in the main).
Various ethnic types.
Smooth and near perfect complexion.
No facial hair (ideally minimal body hair).
ONLY natural-coloured hair.
Absolutely NO tattoos on face, neck or forearms. Other tattoos might have to be discussed depending on scene and costume.

In fact, the guy in this picture was one of our guys from last year who they used as their 'model synth'.

Our Synths SAs will have to be selected not only by our Movement Coach, but also by our Makeup and Costume departments, so as you can see, people will be carefully selected.
