We Are Casting For 'The Rectangle'. Role: Male Guards With Height Between 6'1-6'4. Shooting Over Multiple Days In Feb & March

Please read the below very carefully! This is a hugely exciting opportunity; please ensure you are completely clear on all aspects of the role and only put yourself forward if you are 100% available for all dates and you are prepared to commit. Dropouts will be removed from the books.

JOB: We are casting for “RECTANGLE”

● We are casting for a gameshow. Within the gameshow, various games will be played with multiple contestants involved.

● This is a really fun project to be a part of - please note we can share very limited details of the show prior to you signing an NDA, which will be sent to you if you are booked.

● You will be required to complete a self-declaration form. Please note that we will need to share your email address with production for them to send this form to you. Once your completed form has been received by production, you will then be contacted to be told if you have been BOOKED or RELEASED for the role.

ROLE: GUARDS

● The guards are an important part of the gameshow and essentially 'oversee' the contestants within the show.

● Please note that your face will be covered in a mask for the duration of the filming. You will be provided with costume and props (as applicable).

● There will be a fair amount of direction and movement involved in the production, and also possibly moving pieces of set while being filmed, so we're looking for people who are physically fit and healthy.

● MILITARY experience/training or DANCE background is a bonus though not essential - production want people with a strong, intimidating stance.

● You may also be asked to carry replica (non-working) firearms or batons.

● Ideally 6ft 1 inches to 6ft 4 inches tall for costume needs.

● Ideally with experience of television and taking direction/instructions via radio comms through an earpiece.

DATES AND LOCATIONS:

***Casting***

● We will be holding an audition day in East London. The audition will be 1 hour with a callback later on that day if you are successful so you will be required to be fully available all day.

● Audition date: Tuesday 13th January 2026.

● Casting Dress Code: Smart Trousers (ideally black) & fitted T shirt (ideally plain, any colour).

If BOOKED AS A GUARD: 

● LOCATION: EAST LONDON (closest station: Dagenham East on the District Line). ▪ Please note that call times at location will potentially be EARLY for day shifts and involve LATE wrap times for night shifts. Please ensure that you are able to work shifted hours before putting yourself forward for the role.

▪ Local accommodation may be provided to you by the Production team subject to meeting Studio Lambert’s criteria.

▪ If you are not in accommodation Train/TFL expenses will be reimbursed, capped at £13.50 per return journey.

Dates below are subject to change based on the requirements of the production. Not all roles will be required on every date below.

● INDUCTION, COSTUME FITTINGS, MOVEMENT REHEARSALS & CAMERA BLOCKS:

o 1 day - w/c 9th February 2026

o 1 day – w/c 16th February 2026 (likely 18th / 19th February)

o 2 days - 24 & 25th February 2026

● REHEARSAL DATES/DRY RUN:

Please note that these will be a mixture of DAY SHOOTS, as well as NIGHT SHOOTS - you must be happy to work BOTH types of shoot.

Please note that you will never work more than 12 days consecutively in this period (i.e. in a 14 day engagement period, you will receive 2 days rest, which may be scheduled as 1 x 48 hours or 2 x 24 hours) and will not be needed every day, but for the purposes of casting, we require people to be fully available.

RATES:

● Induction, Costume Fittings, Movement Rehearsals & Camera Blocks and Rehearsal/Dry Run Days & Nights (ie not recorded/filmed): £222/10 hours (overtime @ 20% of day rate per hour)

● Day Shoot: £328/10 hours (overtime @ 20% of shift rate per hour)

● Night Shoot: £486/10 hours (overtime @ 20% of shift rate per hour)

● No charge for rest/ down days.
