My Talents

Actor Supporting Artist Voice Over Stand In & Double

About Me

Wiltshire was my home growing up in the 80s and 90s, then after studying film at college I moved from the countryside to Bristol for my late teenage and early twenties life. Eventually I went back to the countryside and while caring for my father I learned martial arts and spent a lot of time in the forest and meditation became an important part of my life. I later became a fitness instructor and studied a degree in religion and philosophy, moving to London in 2012. Then my life returned to film quite serendipitously by accidentally-on purpose joining in as an extra on a film set I came across while walking in The City in 2015. By the time I was discovered my character had been established and so I ‘had to stay’, which then led to me being put in touch with the supporting artist agency. Since then my working life is acting on film and television in one way or another. But for me it’s never been working. I’m one of the lucky ones who earns a living doing what I love most. Acting was always something I loved doing but it was only by actually spending so much time on film sets and by doing the job over and over again, and of course by learning on set from the greats that I have trained to become one.

Experience

I started as a supporting artist on film and television in 2015 and since then I have worked on well over a hundred productions in one way or another. From being the blurry legs in the back of a coop commercial to playing dialogue alongside Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in Deadpool & Wolverine. From being a detective in Eastenders to being a featured Skrull in full prosthetics for The Marvels. Learning to be a film actor by actually doing the job over and over again on serious film sets and learning directly from the best actors in the world has helped make me grow confident, competent and comfortable with anything asked of me. So far at least! That includes being naked, performing dialogue with main cast, sitting for hours in make up, expressing different kinds of emotion, and of course still being happy to be the blur in the background.

I am the uk stand in for Ryan Reynolds having worked with him on three productions so far, and doubling for him too. I have also been the stand in for numerous other actors for full film and tv productions. It actually means I have a very well rounded awareness of how a film shoot works, what is needed of me and my relationship with each crew member, and I know that film is the epitome of team work.

Acting & Training Institution

  • Trained Actor: Yes
  • Trained Dancer: No
I’m a professional screen actor, by being on hundreds of film sets in front of the camera and learning directly on the job over the years, taking direction from some of the worlds most well known directors and working directly with incredibly talented actors. Playing characters on mostly television and big blockbuster films I know the importance of relationships and understanding the role of everyone involved in film making and how film making is the epitome of team work. I also learned through experience something incredibly important when being an actor in film- learning to be perfectly fine and confident with mistakes and to keep hold of character. More recent featured roles the last couple of years have included dialogue with main cast in big feature films and I have been guided by some of the greatest actors and directors of our time, especially people I built a relationship with like Ryan Reynolds, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Thompson, Hugh Jackman and the director Shawn Levy. I put myself in the pool, made my way to the deep end and learned to swim.
